I personally like the way Madge carries himself and didn't buy into the whole "Madge is too tough" thing at Souths until recently heard of players not in a Tigers or Souths jerseys saying they believe Madges training/recovery regime is reckless and irresponsible.

that makes no sense.

In what way?

Re read what you wrote.

You like Madge being reckless. You dont believe the "madge is to tough thing" but spoke to players that confirmed they dont like "wanting to be flogged in training"

Bit all over the place champ.

I literally didnt write anything you just quoted me as saying? I said i like the way he carries himself? How does that mean i like that he's reckless? I also said some players believe he is reckless? Not that they don't wanna be flogged in training.

I think his comment is more about how your comment reads without punctuation, must admit I had to re-read it again as I misunderstood it first time around.

I agree with Tigerblam. It’s a bit hard to follow what your actual stance is, mainly cos it’s terribly worded. Would have been easier to say non Tigers and Souths players. There’s a lot of mental gymnastics involved in deciphering the way you wrote that sentence.

As I said I apologize for the lack of punctuation just feel that my post is far from the worst in terms of grammar and punctuation on this forum but I'll cop it sweet, no dramas.

It certainly wasn't as bad as some say

I had to read it a 2nd and understood than what you were saying

People just need to break it down a bit

Plenty on here write there posts same way as you and they have to be read a couple of times to get what is written

Problem is it only takes one reply to question your post and than othes flock in and than you cop it from all sides

Appreciate the info mate

Just hope not too many players feel that way about Madge

The tigers players that re signed under Madge need to get word out that Madge is a good guy before scum like matto do

It wasn't about punctuation. I'm the last guy to jump on anyone about that. It made no sense at all. The next comment he made after the post made it even more confusing.

That's fine telltails. But fans pointing out our lack of quality recruitment isn't just putting in the boot as you said.
It's been non existant or bad for years. Every year quality players move clubs but rarely to us.

Get that Galllagher but in the here and now - which I refer to - the "quality players" that we allegedly have missed out on are few and far between and Maguire/ Hartigan can't be held accountable for what happened before they got here.

I'm not pointing the finger at those two, or the chairman. But nearing a decade of missing the finals, you have to question our management, its not laying the boot in.

I hope this quote from Pat Riley isn't outdated with the younger kids

I'm all for accountability I would argue that the current management structure is too. My objection was about the perception that there has been a number of quality players available that we have missed out on that we were in position to sign recently, when there hasn't been.

Lomax and Scott would have been handy

Agree with Scott. Lomax happy where he was not much you can do about that.

You can’t make players come to your club if they don’t want to, and it would appear plenty do not want to come to the Tigers. The question that has to be asked, is what are the club doing about it. Okay we have had some real success in attracting some very good young talent, but if they make the grade in a couple of years will they stick around, especially if the club continues to miss the finals. Also will this young talent kick on with out some really quality mentors.

Iam a long time fan and will turn up every season, but even my interest for the first time in 50 years is on the decline, so I worry that without success our club is in real strife and without some real quality it is not going to happen

Missing the Semis 3 years in a row is terrible. 8 is ridiculous. Do we look more likely to make the 8 in 2020... no

I think we do. Getting rid of Esan's kicking alone should see us make the 8.
