Can someone who actually knows explain whether there is a difference between the top 30 and an NRL contract.

Top 30 players sign a NRL contract, Canterbury Cup players sign a Canterbury Cup contract?

Sorry mate I missed this response. I thought you couldn't have people in your system on CC contracts if the dollar value exceeded the lowest paid member of your NRL squad.

If he doesn’t sign on, they’ll stay with Thompson for start of the year & wait time see if someone worthy of chasing gets itchy feet throughout the year.

With the potential signing of BJ, I would almost pull out of the Doueihi race, front end players for 2020 and look for a fullback for 2021. Mbye had some solid games at fullback for us before he got injured. It seemed everytime he would start to hit some form he would get injured. With a full pre season he could get back to that form he showed at the start of the 2018 season for the dogs. He's also a great ball player. Would also prefer a fit Jennings on the wing outside BJ. Talau has to be in the centres.

Thompson, Momirovski and Abbey for cover. This looks like the backline with the greatest potential for success.

Hoffman for NSW cup makes sense brings lots of experience to a very inexperienced nsw cup team. Made an ave of 150 m plus at fb last yr in nsw cup, can play wing, centre, fullback and a good seasoned professional. Might suggest that Brad Abbey may not be staying though. Makes sense as a canterbury cup player

Hahahaa oh Roosters, suck a big one if he's done his ACL. I mean sorry for the kid himself, but the club, suck a big one.

Release Latrell and literally a week later your talked-up replacement potentially goes down with a season-ender. I would love to have seen what happened if Smith got injured 2-4 weeks ago rather than this week.

Fox reporting they have plenty of depth to cover Smith - Aubusson, BMoz, Ryan Hall. Dad's Army more like it.
