Also as one other poster has mentioned, Leilua has spent most of his career playing on the left and only switched to the right at the Raiders. He can play either side.

I see the swap as a win for both clubs.

The only thing that would be ideal is if we can get Momo contracted for 2021. If they manage that i think it would be the perfect swap.

Allows Mbye back at center so we not loosing too much depth in that position and gaining a Hooker. Not a make shift one like the ones we have.

Everybody saying Momo getting a year under Bellamy would improve him out of sight....not totally sold on that. Improve him? Yes, just like he will improve with another year's experience under Maguire.

On a personal level, I hope Momorovski secures that right centre position at the Storm permanently. In doing so, I hope he secures a nice contract and a great future in a good city. This should be viewed as Maguire foresight in providing him an opportunity for the future under Bellamy.

I'm sure Tigers management wouldn't let an off-contract Momirovski go on a 12 month loan to Melbourne without receiving some reassurance from both Melbourne and Momirovski that he will be back at the Tigers in 12 months time. Also, the guy on the Melbourne forum who broke this news about the loan deal 2 weeks ago is now saying he's hearing the swap is going to become permanent.

Melb may not want him if his performance doesn't hold up.
