Douhie and BJ in one week and all of a sudden our backline looks a lot more complete!!

On LL they are saying that the player who is going to Souths may be Packer.

At his best our pack is stronger with him in it, no question about it. But is he at his best? He's been away for a while and he's on big money. Not sure what to think about that one.

We're spoiled for front rowers. Mikaele, Clark, Twal, Musgrove and Garlic Mayo and Eisenhuth can play there too.

If by some miracle we moved him on, we might have a bit of coin to throw at a pacey back if one made themselves available (I'd wager we'd have to cover some of Packers freight?)

What about Packer for AJ we'd still have to chip in, but it would be nice to have him off our books.

Thumbs up to Madge,Pascoe and Hartigan,they have done a great job recruitment wise,with Stefano coming next year and bringing in a lot of talented youngsters, the club is in a strong position in the years ahead

Yep they’ve done a good job not only to sure up the immediate future but also bring in plenty of young talent for the next few years. Need to keep it going though & we’ll have even more $$/spots to play with next year!

Seriously if we close out Doueihi that will mean that the club has signed Musgrove, LL, Joey Leilua, Doueihi, organised the Grant/Momo swap to solve our short term problem at 9, resigned our best young'uns, signed Stefano.

Can we please put to bed the "no one will come to us", "Our club isnt doing anything"....deathriding of the club? Seriously. I actually think it is hilarious that whilst a large group of fans are here deathriding the club with reports of falling sky, the club has been working hard and well behind the scenes to make these things happen.

I REALLY wanted LM to come but I think it may be a blessing we missed him, I think that what has happened is a better result.

I reckon it puts us ahead for 2020...Matterson and Marsters to a lesser extent were losses...

Doueihi (pending) BJ Leilua, Luciano Leilua, Musgrove and the extentions of Mikaele, Garner, Twal and Talau with the strengthening of Junior Development with Simpkin, Cini, Hoffman has us looking stronger than 2019..IMO..certainly lightyears ahead of anything that's happened since 2012 really..Grant could be the cherry on top

Looking better to come 2021 with Utoikamanu joining..

You just have to laugh at the no one wants to come rhetoric...

We have 29 players signed now and don’t have to sign number 30 till June. Could be a long wait. We should be looking at recruitment for 2021 now.

AJ at fullback i wasnt a fan of but AJ on the wing is better than Jennings and Cory IMO, gives our backline more speed and threat. But in saying that if they just took Packer i'd be ok with that too, they can have 2 Packer's.

Why? No matter price you got him for, he takes up a roster spot for a number of years and doesnt really add anything (Cue pawsandclaws with PACE!).
