True but I imagine the suggestion was in 2021 without Benji then move Douehi to 5/8 and Meaney to fb.

Personally i think 2021 will see Douehi stay at fb and hopefully either Madden steps or id like to see us bring Jackson Hastings back.

Then we have a gr8 bacline with Nofa, BJ, Mbye , Mommers

We either have to sign a fullback or 5/8 if Benji retires. Doueihi is more of a 5/8 I think, but it’ll depend on what fullbacks are available for next year. Both are such important positions we will have to get it right

How’s that been working out ! Meany is fast has safe hands and can kick goals ... I wanted him signed 2 seasons ago this kid can play .
You keep waiting for better you will end up with nothing ...Oh that seems to ring a bell !
Life after Benji is fast approaching the fullback and 5/8 spots need to be filled sooner rather than later .

Just heard a report on the radio that Souffs have pulled out of the race to sign DAVID FIFTA suppose with that statement he'll be in red and green next year.

If they're saying that, he's already signed with them.

That’s the way I see it. 2021, Doueihi at 1, Reynolds 6, with Walters pushing him.
Unless of course Jim Maloney wants to come back.
Does anyone else think great halves are scarce these days? I always thought Mitchell Pierce would be at WT one day. We need someone whose pride simply won’t allow him to play cc.

I've said it before here but I do hope Benji succession planning is not getting too complicated. Some time ago Benji said Talau was a good potential successor for him and now talk of Doueihi being able to slot into 5/8. I just hope succession planning within the squad and position options for players won't cause upset feelings and wanting out. I want both Talau and Doueihi in our starting team next year in positions they like and can contribute to the team 100%.
