Why are so many experts here dirty on Mbye ? I think the bloke is a quality player and one that makes S O O , cant be too much of a waste if he can play at the elite level

I think because he came mid 2018 and was good. My feeling was that he was playing injured last year and offered little in attack and was sometimes suspect under the high ball.

I think with aid of time and a full off season, he can get back to his best. Not sure if centre is his best position though, the game now seems to want bigger bodies in that role. I think he’d be a very good 9 though.

Probably because of his rumoured pay packet. I also think he is another player who is ok in lots of positions but not great at any so it’s hard to nail down a spot for him.

WT need to develop into a team that plays for the whole 80 minutes. Also luck with injuries. Really looking forward to this seadon as we have recruited well.

Same thing has been said about Mbye his whole career.

Nice guy, talks well on camera, is a good athlete but not quite the footballer.

Him not having a position locked in this far into his career speaks volumes.

Great utility, lucky to make the QLD team but they're looking thin these days.

I still think #6 is his best position personally but the guy is not worth what hes paid but is overall very likeable, level headed and has some athletic ability... he just isnt elite at any position but good at a few.

His drive or will to be great is not at the standard required to dominate he’s talented but goes through the motions.

The dogs people I knew were happy he was gone as he never realised his potential over many years.

Cleary overpaid him and many others but the damage is done he’s no scrub but when your highest paid players are good utility players you won’t win anything.

I reckon people are over inflated how much he’s on anyway. After the bulldogs stopped paying some his salary his price tag would’ve gone down. Think he’ll have a good year if he gets to play centre and is over his injury. Hopefully he does good at the nines to get his confidence up
