Coen Hess is signed until 2022 but he seems to be out of favour in FNQ, I reckon he might be worth sounding out, I'd even be keen on getting him this year if it were possible

Coen Hess is over rated our money would better spent going after the likes of Viliame Kikau who can change the momentum of a game with his hard hitting runs.

Agreed but a successful club builds a squad. For equal money, Hess would be an improvement on say McQueen or Eisenhuth IMO. You cant just a have a roster full of top dollar players.

But you don't just try to improve on your lowest common denominator either.

Wouldn't you try to get someone as good as say Garner or Mikalee for example and if no one available this year - buy no one.

We don't need another McQueen or Eisenhuth that's for sure.

Ritchie is beyond useless. It really is depressing how many extremely poor quality "journalists" there are that cover league.

The sport would be much better off with only a handful of journos promoting it well, rather than the number of morons constantly belittling the league, its players and fans.

On Doueihi, of course the roosters are always an attractive option. Who wouldn't want unlimited money and benefits and the chance to win a premiership every year!

However a 2 year deal, on 800k where he plays out of position at centre in the first year and then may not play at all in the second year. Versus 4 years at 1.7 million, and an excellent chance to play one of his two preferred positions.
