His ruck speed, defense and options are poor. He also passes post pickup/step which slows downtime for forwards & halves to get the advantage.

Exactly just go with what’s on the books the young kid could step up Mid year of Liddle could be in the mix at the back end of the season ... why waste a spot on someone that is not much better than a fill in !

As reported we can still go after Grant. Momo stays with us but there is no reason storm cant lend Grant to us for a year anyway to help him get ready for the role after Smith retires.

They would than have to replace him in their top 30 contracts. So I guess unless they have or can find a outside back willing to sign for a basic contract ( that’s what Grant is on) than they are highly unlikely to release him
