Does anyone else think the salary cap will go down in the near future? Fox paid overs last time and are bleeding cash. Their offer likely won't be as big next time around. Less TV money = less money to clubs = lower salary cap

Don't think the Salary Cap will ever go down..may not increase as it has the past few years but will increase none the less..The NRL grant may be less to Clubs but all it means is the Clubs themselves will have to come up with any shortfall between Cap and Grant..

I heard that the Roosters found an extra $1.6M just sitting around in the change room in a brown paper bag .. and according the NRL is was their own Salary Cap Auditor that found it there .. so the Chooks have spare room and $$ under their cap .. !!

I know you can't read too much into trial form but very happy we got big Joey Leilua as a kind of consolation prize after missing out on Mitchell the Messiah. There are a lot of blokes in opposition teams this season (Hi Mitch) who'll be having nightmares about the big bloke heading their way. He's a lot quicker than I remember from his Raiders days and looks fitter too. His brother's no slouch either!
