The brother is a half I think isn't he? Forwards is definitely what we are after for now (except for maybe a winger or 2), so seemingly good call yet again by Tigers.

If BJ doesn’t find form quick I’d probably switch him to lock especially with our centre stocks of momo, talau, Mbye, doueihi

Makes good meters has the size could be a JT for us...I’m not sure why we bought him even if one of doueihi or Mbye plays 6 and talau goes on the wingg we have better options in momo and Mbye/doueihi

Doesn't have the defensive motor to handle 13. He's pretty much played centre his entire career and I can't see Madge throwing him into the middle of the field. It's not a smart move.

If it was ever to be done, he’d need a pre season. You can’t just throw him into the pack where he’s never played, in the middle of the season. He wouldn’t have the motor.

Ummm .. BJ Leilua was in the Australain School Boys team as a hard running, ball playing lock .. before he signed with the Dragons .. then quickly being snapped up by the Headless Chooks. So he can play there .. big enough body.

The facts, as is.....is that BJ hasnt yet proven he has the motor for centre let alone anywhere in the pack.

He has proven himself a thousand times over at his previous club

Agreed and I’m very happy to have him at centre for the Tigers. I was responding to a (IMO) wild suggestion to move him to lock.
