I’m not sure what thread to put this in but I have been thinking since these new rule changes are comming in and it looks like there is going to be a lot more fatigue in the game Maby we should look at putting Corey Thomson on the bench and playing him in the middle to get at some
Of the tired defenders in the middle similar to what the storm did with paps

IMO if Harry Grant absolutely kills it for us this year, the Storm will say "thanks but no thanks" to Cammy if he says he wants to play on in 2021. They won't want to lose an up and comer to satisfy a 40 year old.
Time will tell how good Grant is, he wasn't a standout in the trial game vs Warriors in February (not that it is much of a gauge).

I think Smith will be given 1st shot if he wants it

Would give him another 2 to 3 years before that pressure is put on him (as captain that is)

But yes he can fill the roll as thier #1 hooker
And at this point Brandon would make a better Hooker than Grant
I would be happy with either

Well this may be the time to give some of these guys a go if it pans out that we can add the development players to the NRL squad sooner rather then later.
