We’ve been linked to Kevin Proctor by journalist Peter Badel. Apparently we are interested in him as are a few other clubs including English clubs. He’s 31 years old but has premiership winning experience, personally would pass on him. Hasn’t been doing that well for a while now

his value has significantly decreased for obvious reasons, on a cut price deal we could do with some experience, considering we've got a few veterans moving on next year

We are naive if we dont think that talking to players to backflip doesnt happen... look at Teddy and the Raiders

Apparently super league teams want him, they’d offer more money than us so hopefully he goes there.

Only reason I could think Madge would want him is because they possibly worked together at Melbourne and he wants Kevin to help bring a winning culture to the team? Both our second rowers are playing 80 mins at the moment

He’s hopeless. Hasn’t delivered anything at the Titans and our retirement home is already full of plodders like him.

If we sign him it will show nothing’s changed.

Our history with ageing second row forwards from the Titans should be enough to ensure this has no foundation. It goes against our smart recruitment.

I gotta say that attitude is poor. Justifying low character decisions because other low characters do it too. There’s a way to do it and a way not to . Enticing a player to backflip whilst you’re conducting a revolutionary loan deal , is definitely not the way. But hey , when it happens to us again I’m sure all you guys will scream bloody murder. The hypocrisy is real.

Proctor is another one who was a superstar in the Melbourne system but just has not kicked on elsewhere, especially a rabble like the Titans.

They seldom do well elsewhere, Cronk and Inglis are the only two real apparent ones that come to mind and they were greats of their era type players.

Everyone is assuming also that is Grant is not happy to bide his time for another year to line up for the Storm. That is also still a possibility.

i dont think backflips are right but they do happen and morally it is not good but premierships are not built on being nice. Fully expecting us to get screwed over

Yeah I agree with you, if we want experience there are guys who have played big games that are better quality than proctor. He’s been bad at the titans.

Another report today saying we are keeping an eye on Jack De Belin too. Don’t see him leaving dragons if found innocent though, would be a dog move considering they stood by him through the whole thing.

If smith decides to play on I don’t understand why simply couldn’t extent the loan deal for another seasond and by the end of 2021 hopefully Simpkin is ready to go

Another report today saying we are keeping an eye on Jack De Belin too. Don’t see him leaving dragons if found innocent though, would be a dog move considering they stood by him through the whole thing.

It concerns me to hear our interest in guys like Debelin and Proctor. It reeks of overpaid/has been signings that we used to be a special for. Hopefully just rumours and nothing more.
