Last year we over achieved to be honest. This year we are playing more like our roster suggests.

I hate how long it’s gonna take to build a strong roster as we’ve already waited so long as fans for results. Madge could get it wrong and stuff us up as well we never know.

Hopefully the club has patience. He needs to be given a chance. Big off season recruitment wise fingers crossed we can get rid of J Rey

Woods coming back to be a leader is not realistic. That's why he left in the first place, he didn't want to be a leader. It's not in him, no at the moment anyway.

Maybe entice Woods back to be a solid metre-eater, if that's what you think we need. But he doesn't get quick play the balls, he would stifle our attack (which is almost non-existent anyway), would be a decent bench player ideally for us imo.

We would still need a starting prop (or two).

I personally think Benji and Lawrence will finish up this year and will be announced before the end of the season so they can get a good send off. As much as they are liked and have experience we really need to replace them with at least 2 experienced players with a **winning culture**. I love the young ones Madge has brought and they are getting great experience this year but need some hard nose players to assist.
I would love to be a fly on the wall in Madge's office as i think he will be taping quite a few on the shoulders soon. I read today Madge is working behind the sceens to offload a high paying player to UK so hope that works out.
As a fan base we are in desperate need of some good news and a big name signing would do that.. Fingers Crossed

Just my thoughts but what better advertisement for WTs and. RL is to use Benji as a development officer in this region. Every kid had the Marshall step and he is instantly associated with WTs, Kiwi expat families and success.

I think it would be less than that. Wish player salaries were public so we could know there would be so much less drama with the salary cap etc. can understand why players don’t want it though

He's a very good young player. He would have played NRL with the Premiers but was injured.
