Iam I right we should have about $1,200,000 to spent next year , would have loved to see us sign 2 of these three , ese ese , fitzell , or cotric but what did we get a roooters off cast . This is why we are a basket case .

He's a very good young player. He would have played NRL with the Premiers but was injured.

For me when he ran the ball he looked strong. Saw some really nice footwork and good leg speed, he would look good in some open field. Just needs to fix his hands, I think he’ll get another shot this week

I'd take Woods back and even **make him captain**. I'm confident he could cover the 30m that Packer contributed last night.

Bro what you smoking, can I have some of that? If you thought Moses "Mute" Mbye was a bad captain, oh boy, Sharon is another kettle of fish. Everything seems good until you find out he is trying to shop himself along with the club's best players to other clubs.

I don't really care what supposedly happened a few years ago. He's miles ahead of any forwards we got our anyone capable of being a captain. Not that he's the answer but thats how crap we are right now.

Asu was exciting. Our best players this year have mostly been signings, young ones + Nofoaluma.

Talau has been really nice for a rook. Blore has shown great promise. McIntyre has been really nice. I though Asu did well. Grant and Lucy have been probably our best two players alongside Nofoaluma and Aloiai.

The issue is obvious and everyone knows it. We have nothing going on in the halves and cap tied up in players who are waaay overpaid. There's a reason Madge has been cycling through halves. Because our halves are the problem. We've played tough all year and have kept competitive largely off the back of the efforts in the pack. I'd say that they've just been worn out. Maybe Madge has pushed them too hard on the paddock and they've stopped short of two miles but playing as the team getting spanked in the penalty count and set restarts would be tiring enough over the course of a season in it's own right.

C'est la vie. Maybe it's time to give Madden a run and see what's going on there.

Spot on mate.. I love benji but he needs to finish up and look at some form of coaching / development role.. Josh R should be the 14 and give Brooks the 6 with Madden the 7.. We are done this season so we may as well

That’s a good point you raise. Our wins have not been off the back of our halves controlling a game and dominating games it’s been off our forwards working their ass off every game. It could definitely be a factor in their decline the last few weeks especially after some hard fought losses.

How about we offer Taukeiaho a million bucks a year? A goal kicking forward leader. Apparently on about 650k for two more years at the roosters. Obviously it's overs but he has everything we need. Roosters don't lose players they want to keep, who knows how much he gets off the books, and we can't legally u make an offer but spread the rumour and see if he's interested

We need to get three players at once. We need that to start a revolution here.
Players exactly like Taukeiaho, Staggs, Pangai.
Halfback is a weak position across the league so I'd look to juniors or UK to get a new 7 in.

Yep because Staggs and Pangai have really been leading a revolution at Brisbane

The Roosters are attempting to re-sign Walker prior to the 1 November deadline. Anyone believe Robinson is not above sacrificing Flanagan to demonstrate Walker will have a clear pathway to the NRL, hence him being dropped?

I'm not suggesting we sign Flanagan because what we have is better. It would be hard not to look good playing in that team alongside Keary.

If it's halves we need, let's go after them, let's waste more money paying overs on middling backs and forwards that aren,t better than what we have got.
Developing halves off contract at the end of this year that we can afford (thanks Ivan) that are still to reach their prime are O'Sullivan (Broncs), Cust (Sea Eagles) and Lam (Roosters). Drew Hutchinson might be worth a look, although he might be starting to get on a bit, just unlucky to get stuck behind Widdop, Pearce and Cronk.

Screw Woods. I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club. Don't look back WTs, he's not the player he once was.

Every now and then someone will randomly name drop this guy. Idk why. To quote Johnny Utah “he’s not coming back”

Or to quote Angelo Pappas "Forget them kid, they're ghosts".

Neither were Benji or Farah. Woods seems to have found his place at Cronulla.

The Mole still linking us to Kevin Proctor. Played well last night, maybe for the right price he would go okay but I’m scared we would pay too much for him. He’s older now we don’t need him on a long deal

McQueen mk2 - we never learn.

I think we would be better than McQueen (not hard) but he’s not game breaker. Just a solid forward who’ll do their job, maybe that’s what Madge wants who knows. We have Luciano and Blore as strike second rowers maybe he wants a guy like Proctor who knows how to go through the motions of winning a game there too.

Absolutely disagree he has slaved up there and is there best every week

Proctor looked good yesterday but geez he’s looked pretty ordinary for years prior. Can’t see that signing working out well tbh. Definitely need to be in the market for second rowers though.

People complain we need an experienced forward leader, then when we are linked to Kevin Proctor who is one of the few of those off contract people have a cry because it’s not David Fifita.

IMO Proctor is a step up from Garner and Lawrence.
