We should have incentive based contracts with 3rd and 4th years the club's options not players. If we don't sign an experienced pack leader for 2021 we have not learnt a thing. It appears 2022 our salary cap looks in a better position.

Out of all the guys contracted from 2022 and beyond Mbye is clearly the worst and on the most coin. Makes a lot of sense to pay half his contract to move him on.

Good for Mbye too. He’s a decent player and the Titans are playing well under Holbrooks coaching. He more likely to play good footy there than here.

For another club, Mbye at 400k is not a bad option. If we had him at that price he wouldn't get half the criticism he gets here.

Just thinking about it, if he was gone, I have no idea who'd play fullback if Doueihi was unavailable, so we'd need to find someone who can cover.

Sadly we will be topping up Grubs contract if he goes to SL, but it will be for one year and maybe only around 30%. Moses M on the other hand will be 400 for two years. That’s a lot of cash to be flushing down the loo...thanks Ivan
