Madge didn't talk to him. Panthers youngsters are the priorities, as I explained 3 weeks ago, and a halfback. As it's been explained to me, when you're on a budget you don't spend 600k on a winger, which is what JAC is asking. The other item of note, Stefano apparently came fairly cheap and Parra weren't overly interested in keeping him. It seems he's a bit on the lazy side! Josh Reynolds has zero interest in going to England and it will take a massive payout to shift him over there. It appears he is staying put.

Why weren't rather Panthers youngsters a priority last year? Do we only notice players once their team is going well?

Because this year they have to upgrade Martin, Naden, Crichton and even Aiken. When Staines, Laurie, Burton and Leniu start asking for more money, something has to give.

Benji will retire. He’s been doing the club a favour tbh it’s not the other way around. Playing for peanuts with a media career already lined up.
The reality is we are that bad he’s our best option. Playing as hard as he can but Father Time catches up with everyone but Cam Smith.

It’s more than Clearys mess we have failed to create a club where players want to play and juniors stay. Paid overs for outsiders when we have the third biggest junior league in NSW.

Massive back ended contracts, fall of Balmain, Independant NRL Directors, 4 coaches in a few years, management lacking in Rugby League Nous etc.

Year 1 was 2018 it will take 5 years to recover. I’m not kidding we won’t be a threat before 2023.
