**It's good to hear the club are supporting him and i hope they bankroll a large portion of getting him to a world class treatment facility as well.**

I'll be pumped to see him back on the field, but would be just as pumped to buy him a cold one and have a yarn if he's forced out of the game.

That could cost hundreds of thousands of dollars….perhaps Harry could donate an apartment sale toward the treatment!!

I don't see him returning at all next year after he has the operation and it's a success he will have to get his fitness back and also build up the strength in his entire arm and shoulder as the muscles would be wasting away as he cannot move his arm at all but hope everything goes well for him and he makes a successful return whether it be next year or 2013

Just to let everyone know Simon Dwyer will be on the Game Plan on Thursday at 8.30pm on One HD. It will be interesting what he says about his injury.

Epitomises the spirit of the club and I hope that whatever medical option is taken, Simon can make a full recovery. If he can pull the Tigers jersey back on sometime next year or the year after then it's a bonus.

well said, i hope he is able to play again, more importantly, i hope he recovers enough that the injury does not impact on his life

Couldn't agree more - well said both of you.

I'm guessing we wont hear anything new about his injury….just that he will be seeking overseas medical assistance...and that he'll be expecting it to come good eventually(fingers crossed for the young man!)...I can only imagine what psychological scars this sort of injury will have on him..

Would be fantastic to see him back on the field sometime next year.
He's still only young so even if he takes all of next season off and gets back out there for 2013 would be great to see.

Thats almost worth me plugging in the TV aerial etc.

Anychance of someone just gving a synopsis?

Good luck Simon, hope you get well soon. Your own health and wellbeing is more important than footy.
Its great to hear the club is being so supportive of you especially Tim Sheens.
