They only charged him to take the heat away from the fact they put it on report,no way known it should should have been reported

Well it was a swinging arm with a closed fist that got him right on the Snoz, like our guys he took his time to get up from the tackle to ensure it was looked at and there was plenty of claret which meant that Simon didn't miss him, no malice in the tackle just unfortunate that he made contact, hope Simon doesn't gain an unwarrented reputation.

Dwyer avoids ban over high tackle charge

Wests Tigers forward Simon Dwyer will be skating on thin ice in Saturday's NRL finals blockbuster against St George Illawarra after entering an early guilty plea to a high tackle charge.

**Dwyer will take 56 carry-over points into the ANZ Stadium preliminary final following a grade one careless high tackle charge on Canberra's Joe Picker.**

The charge came a week after he avoided any action over a tackle which left Sydney Roosters forward Jared Waerea-Hargreaves concussed.

While Dwyer is free to play this week, any charge arising out of the clash with the Dragons would endanger the hard-hitting benchman's involvement in the grand final if the Tigers win.

The Grand Final edition of Rugby League Week reports that Simon Dwyer has just extended his contract at the Tigers for another couple of years and is now signed until the end of 2013 in a boost for the Tigers.

David Fifita meanwhile is determined to look elsewhere to play first grade. He wants to prove the Tigers wrong for not giving him a go this year. Sorry David, while you showed improvement in the second half of the season, you're still not ready for FG.

Fantastic news on SD. As for David Fifita, I think his career will work out the same no matter where he goes. If he puts the effort in and keeps improving he'll play NRL. At the end of the day who would you drop to fit him in?

Heard an interview a while back where Coach Sheens singled out Dywer and Woods in particular as 2 kids to look out for in years to come.

This is good News for the Tigers

Great news for Dwyer.
As for D Fifita, there just isn't room for him. He's have to wait for Payto to retire

Goodo. Looking forward to Dwyer next year. Want to see him get a little more involved now that he has some experience.

Its not like we arent going to have injuries over the coarse of next year. He will definately have an opportunity to play, its just whether Sheens rates him.

Benjibro are you taking about Barb Dwyer….Gus said Sheens told him in a secret liason before a game once that he thinks Dwyer is the next Bradley Clyde...I think he rates him....

Great news for Simon and the Wests Tigers
