The Grand Final edition of Rugby League Week reports that Simon Dwyer has just extended his contract at the Tigers for another couple of years and is now signed until the end of 2013 in a boost for the Tigers.

David Fifita meanwhile is determined to look elsewhere to play first grade. He wants to prove the Tigers wrong for not giving him a go this year. Sorry David, while you showed improvement in the second half of the season, you're still not ready for FG.

Fantastic news on SD. As for David Fifita, I think his career will work out the same no matter where he goes. If he puts the effort in and keeps improving he'll play NRL. At the end of the day who would you drop to fit him in?
