Simon Dwyer out for season?

According to the late mail section in today's Telegraph, on the injured list for the Tigers it has Simon Dwyer listed as being out for the season with a hip injury. He was walking fine at the Foundation Cup but does anyone out there know anything about this?

He was raised at the Balmain AGM by sheens but he didn't indicate that the injury was long-term, the opposite in fact

It also says…Tuiaki Round 3...

Think I'd rather take the rumours on here than anything that's printed in the Telecrap......

As for Dwyer...I don't believe it's a season ending injury....

I choose to believe the telejoke for Tui (rnd 3 sounds good) & rumours on here for Dwyer (short term injury sounds good)

Really hope Dwyer is only short term. Sounds like there are some plans for him this season.

INJURY NEWS ON DWYER AND TUIAKI

Wests Tigers would like to clarify a mistake in today's Daily Telegraph in relation to the injury to promising second-rower Simon Dwyer.

It was reported in the Friday Footy Form section that Dwyer (pictured) would miss the season with a hip injury. This is a mistake. Dwyer does have a hip injury but has started running again. His return date remains indefinite.

In relation to winger Taniela Tuiaki, his return from an ankle injury remains indefinite and he is not expected back in round three as listed in the paper.

As for Dwyer...I don't believe it's a season ending injury....

Robbie said on sports tonight last week,that TNT was expected back in round 3,so that is where they got that from.

See something weird in the paper and Cuzzo mostly corrects it for us (no concrete return dates though).
