Has anyone got any news on him?

I last saw him afew months ago walking around Macarthur Square and he still had his arm in a sling.

I understand that progress will be slow but I was wondering if anyone had heard any fresh news on how he's going?

Thanks in advance.

Arm is still in the sling.. most reports are he will never play again..

I assume he would have some involvement with the club still, unless that ceased when sheens left.

What kind of news are you looking for? If its about him playing again its been well known for a long time he'll never return

Simon does the game day stats for NYC and NRL tea. Se him in the coaches box all the time. Good to see the club looking after him and keeping him involved on a week to week basis.

I'm not worried about his chances of playing, I know they are more or less in tatters, unfortunately.

I was just wondering if anyone knew how his health and recovery were going in general. Also if he was still involved with the club in any capacity. It's such a shame what happened, a freak injury, but I just hope he can get back to 100% physically, not for footy but for him.

Spoke to him round 2 months ago…
Has movement in his shoulder, can lift, rotate etc same with the elbow.
But still can't move his fingers.
Said the sling could be coming off in a few months, Which could be anytime now....

The best thing I've seen is that he is moving on and taking his footy brain in another direction.

Seems like he has moved past the charity stage of employment and is a valuable member of the club again. He just seems like the sort of bloke to do everything at 110% which is what we saw on the field. If he attacks the coaching side I'm sure he will rise to the top with perseverance.

Such a shocking injury and a career that won't be fulfilled. It should be a lesson and a wake-up call for someone like Duggan. Don't take it for granted because it can be taken from you in an instant.

Unfortunatley the Wests Tigers have lost some really great and talented players. To simon, get better soon big fella and to others, R.I.P. All are missed.
