Simona to stay at wing

Is it just me or should he stay at wing. He might not be fast as koro but he catches the ball good.

And that try yesterday was EPIC!!!

Yeah, I agree. I don't really see him as that great a centre honestly, in terms of making space for outside players, but he really seems to get it on the wing

The try he scored was from the centres. His speed and fend are excellent and are 2 great attributes for setting up his outside man. His defence is also above average and I have no doubt he could hold his own against the elite centres.

Good point, he shifted positions with Rowdy for his first half try where he made Hurrell look ordinary. He's doing well on the left wing, but I'd prefer to see him in the centres. I think with his acceleration and fancy footwork, he is better suited to setting up his outside player than what Lawrence is. He gives Potter options at centre, wing and fullback which is handy.

Speed promotes this man. It gives him time to make the right decision and to choose his options. He will be a star of the future in the NRL.

I think within the tigers centres would suit us and he'd do almost, if not AS well as at the wing. For example that try vs the panthers could have been scored from centres, as could have the one last night. Also, I think he can play a role very similar to what Lawrence did which is a pretty simple 2 and 3 switch and the 6 passes to the wing who draws in the defender and on to simona to burn the sideline. Also, a utai/reddy switch could be used for kick returns. Would be nice to have a fresh pair of legs run it back instead of koro or whatever. Would confuse the defence I'm sure.

I dunno, i'm just throwing some ideas out for simona to use at centre  Otherwise koro and big T have no place in our team

If he doesn't play centre next year then who does we only have 3 -Lawrence, Simona and leulia while we already have nofoaluma,Koroibete , Richards and Big T on the wings for next year

Big T will end up at second row

I think he should play centre. He can score tries from there and having Koro outside of him would mean a lot of attacking ability on that left side. There are two things I worry about though - their defence and where do you play Lawrence and Sironen.

All I can see is heaps of options now in the forwards and outside backs. If we get the halves right and Robbie plays like a gun and Tedesco or another fullback steps up we will be looking good.

I would think next year he will go straight to centre. And its good we made the right call we re signed him and let Blake go sharks are fuming they didnt get Tim Simona and ended up getting Blake.

I wouldn't mind seeing him at fullback for a few weeks. He's played the position in reserves, and it would allow Koroibete to come back on that wing.

I think Tedesco looks a bit unsure of himself in first grade, and a few games in NSW cup might help him get his confidence back. I'm a fan of his and he's a tough kid, but I think he's lacking confidence right now.

If it doesn't work we can bring hopefully a more confident Tedesco back in first grade.

For me, Simona's form revival has come whilst cementing a spot on the wing. He is deceptively quick, backs himself and has good finishing skills.

At centre, I think he is less effective because he is not particularly big, nor is he much of a hole runner. He has good footwork, but aside from a move on Dean Whare a few weeks ago I feel most opposition centres have contained him comfortably. I think he needs more early ball to succeed as a centre, something Benji doesn't really do.
