Sir Andy Murray ???????

Geez Nadal choked big time there.

Not upset that Federer won it though, he's a class act on and off the court.

He did CB.

There is no doubt that Federer will go down as the greatest player that graced the Court but I think he had a few things go his way to reach the final, Andy Murray and Djokovic being knocked out early fell favourably for him.
I think Wawrinka was very unlucky in the semi's but Federer just hanged in and the experience shown through.

Federer knows his time is coming to an end his mind wants to keep going but his body is saying " your flogging me ".
Is there a more likeable sportsman on the planet? I think Federer would be # 1 unbelievably humble, respectful, generous, shows his emotion, gives unbelievable interviews and not one worded answers.
His is a class act and great role model, the same can be said for Nadal Absolute class in defeat….I really felt for Nadal.
Nick Kyrgios needs one across the ear and to observe how Nadal and Federer conduct themselves.

Wrong thread…

Maybe

Pretty sure I saw our talisman / saviour Harry T at the match tonight ….

Oh and I told you before Roger can never be Sir…

Being Swiss he is King Roger..

That didn't answer my question

Was I hallucinating or did I say Harry Triguboff at the tennis last night ??

When they showed the wheelchair champion and his GF in the stands on watching the final to the left and just below him I'm sure it was our Harry

Great to see two icons of the sport play in the mens final. Nothing against the entire new brigade, i think the joker is great (his emotions when bundled out of Wimbledon were very heartwrenching) but on the whole they seem a brash arrogant bunch of sooks.
These two men last night were awesome. On the court, off it, in victory and in defeat they always show respect for the game, their opponent and the fans whilst giving their all. Bravo to both.

Kyrgios needs 10 across the ear, 4 on the chin…....and a boot up the arse.
And he still wouldn't get it. Last night we saw 2 of the best, most humble of all time. Unfortunately in Australia we are represented by 2 of the biggest buttheads to have ever played professional sport.

I agree, Rafter was from another planet, as a player and human being.
