How good was Siro when he came on last night
For a short time the tigers were running hard and straight and were getting results . Hope they have learnt from this
Soon good signs last night - but some horrible options taken by playmakers and terrible application from Anasta

sirro and BMM both ran straight and hard last night and we looked good, get rid of benji and anasta now and see how well we play.

my fav part of the night was at 57.08,45 out from our line and with charges from sirro, bmm and then sirro again and we were on their 10.
been a while since we have exposed an edge and just pounded it.

i wouldn't mind him partnering brooks next year if he would run more and take the game on at 5/8.but backrow seems to suit his strengths with the ball.needs to step up in defense next year though.

Two of our best last night..did what the coach wanted, run straight down the middle.

Wasn't all siro. Give BMM some credit too. They were on either together or one after the other and during that period they were really on the backfoot. That's exactly what impact forwards are supposed to do! Expose the tired defence of the opposition in the 2nd half. Great timing from potter too, 50-60min is about right. Too bad we couldn't have something more of a game on our hands at the time…

BMM is great at that. I love seeing him charge at the line. The only thing is he only does it twice a year. The challenge is to get him to run like that week in week out

He's played consistently well for about 6 weeks now. He's found his role and is getting better and better at it while potter is increasing his minutes. Unfair criticism.

It wasnt an experiment per se….......Sirro has an injury and they dont wanna give him 80 til it comes right.

Potter said this on MMM.

Sirro will be a back rower he is only going to get bigger,he'll be a monster I think in a year or so time he will develop into that damaging wide running back rower we all say we need, what BMM has the potential to do but can't or won't do except for fits and starts here and there.

I'm predicting a big off season for Sirro and bulking up in the gym and watch the kid go I reckon we have a diamond on our hands with him future rep honours lie ahead.

BMM got a fair crack last night and tbh deserved every second. I do believe one of either siro or BMM have to start and the other comes on for impact (I see BMM with more impact off the bench) and drop Thompson. But it is only one game where I've seen BMM strong. If he keeps I up could be seen as a good inclusion from 30min mark to around the 50-60 like what he did last night.

Pretty disappointing he was taken off just as he was firing, but was probably tired as anything haha.

Both Sirro and BMM were good last night and had good impact. More of the same and our backrow will improve.

So what's the word on the street with the younger Sirro? He's meant to be a bigger unit isn't he?

Bayley isn't as tall as Curtis yet, but he's still over 6 feet tall and obviously growing. He's broader of shoulder though and he could be anything in the future. If I had to suspect, I think he'll end up being quite a damaging backrower and he and Curtis could very well be the starting backrow for the Tigers in a few years time.

Here is a link to an article where Curtis talks briefly about Bayley:
