I will repeat what I have been saying all season Sironen is years away from the second row..this guy has huge ball playing and general skill to be a battering ram it's just a waste seeing him play in the forwards, that's right he is tall and is around a 100kg that's when you get shafted to the forwards.

I disagree. He looked great out there. I just think you want to make sure he keeps ball playing if he is in the forwards.

He will be better for the experience these last few games.

Put 5kg of muscle on him and he is that ballplaying beast backrower we need

Siro and BMM will be a great backrow next year if both can tighten when we dont have the ball. I reckon they will.

He made some very strong runs tonight as with BMM .

I'd like to see him at 5/8 next year with brooks running the show it will give us more size and help us especially doing the hard yards when needed. At least until maybe Moses or someone like Austin can impress and get the 6 jersey.

Except if your name is GI…reminds of when Sirro's dad burst on to the scene and how the "experts" would say that, even if only 21, because of his height and weight, he should play front row....

He's a 19 year old rookie playing his 2nd game in the forward pack. I thought Sironen was outstanding tonight. He made plenty of metres with the ball in hand, and his ball playing skills were great. Like Tedesco I can't wait to see him with a full off season under his belt.

His leg drive at the line is amazing. Deadly left side with Simona outside side. Sirro will always attract two defenders, giving Simona room to work his magic. Backrow is definitely his position

I don't get this. I feel it is quite clear that his best games 2013 have come from playing a wide-running backrower role. He's not a bad 5/8th at a pinch, but although he has decent hands I feel he is much more effective when he's not looking to organise - just tuck it under and rev up.

Second half last night he started to ball-play a little and he became a much easier target. I think he also got tired in last 20.

He doesn't have a kicking game either?

As other people have said, if he can have a proper weights offseason, get up a few kgs and work on his lateral defence, he has all the key ingredients for a quality backrower.

But continue him at 5/8th? He will be the worlds biggest and slowest 5/8th soon enough. In the words of Gus; "no, no, no, no, no."
