Sironen or Anasta

Who would Sheens play at 5/8 next year? I would hope Sirro but who knows what Sheens mastermind thinks who would you preffer to play at 5/8 i was thinking the move of benji to half was to play Anasta but what do you guys think?

If Sironen plays consistently well for the remainder of the year Sheens will have no choice but to have:

6\. Sironen
7\. Marshall
13\. Anasta

Having Anasta around next year is going to do Sironen wonders in developing his game - he'll be able to teach him a lot of things since they play the same style of game and are around the same size.
 
Sheens seemed to suggest in the press conference that he'd had an eye on Sironen for quite a while. He wouldn't have bought Anasta if he was planning on playing Sironen at 5/8th. I can guarantee he will play lock with Sirro in the halves. Scary to think we'll be a more potent attacking force next year than we currently are.
 
Sirro will be wearing the 6 jersey next year, Benji at 7 and Anasta either 13 or 12.
 
It should be a no brainer, Sirro 5/8\. I haven't seen too many Rooster games, but I'm aware a lot of their fans have been screaming for Anasta to be removed from the halves.

He'll be in the backrow, Bryan Fletcher asked him, he said he'll be back row.

I can't see Heighington being shifted from lock. Anasta will fill in Ellis' spot, and it won't stop him from playing like a second 5/8 anyway.

I do agree that it will give us an edge next year. Don't know where Pettybourne and Thompson fit into all of this though? You'd assume the following would be the starting side for round 1 next year, permitting no career ending injuries etc:

1\. Tedesco
2\. Ryan
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Nofoaluma/Koroibete
6\. Sironen
7\. Marshall

13\. Heighington
12\. Anasta
11\. Blair
10\. Galloway
9\. Farah
8\. Woods

14\. Fulton
15\. Murdoch-Masila
16\. Bell
17\. Pettybourne/Thompson/Groat

Competition for alot of spots there. Cashmere may possibly be kept on also. There's a good balance of youth, skill and experience there.
 
I said earlier that Sirro will be 5/8 & anasta lock & that means heighington into the 2nd row with Blair & Pettybourne off the bench but all that could change if Heighington goes to England next year.
 
If Anasta is lock who will twinkle toe into the line and offer minimal impact?

Anasta will give us a lot in terms of stability and mentor ship of our young play makers.

He tends to have that strength in controlling a team.

Sirro is our future,
