He has so many similarities to Bryce Cartwright
Same position
Same build
Both have famous surnames
That's where it ends, Bryce is a superstar and Sironen is just woeful

Sad part is Siro was built up to be the player Carty is two yrs ago. It's only now the majority of people are finally seeing him for what he is, a hype merchant.

Hype merchant? I've never heard him talking himself up. Everybody else does it for him though.

In my opinion, Sironen has been the biggest disappointment among the so called 'wonder kids' coming through the Tigers ranks. Touted as a barnstorming, edge running juggernaut with an offload, he has emerged an invisible, ineffective non entity and this is puzzling for a player of his size, mobility and skill set. His failure can be attributed to poor coaching but, for me, a big factor has been his lack of passion and effort. People have pointed to his injuries but he's had ample opportunity to establish himself between the layoffs and just hasn't produced. He should be dropped but, we all know, that he is one of the many untouchables in the team who will not and cannot be brought to account for poor performance.
