Sirro to 9?

Facts are stubborn things, Bob.

Anyway, I don't see Sirro as a #9 option. Liddle is the future there, with Ballin as a platoon partner for 2017.

Nothing but sarcasm in the earlier post mate.. Good on you for bringing it to everyone's attention.

On another note the open post was about him playing 9 in an sub role with liddle mainly playing hooker after the opening 20.

I can see where you're coming from, but it's untried and Siro is not a hooker - has to be Sheenius. Btw love the voting options Bob!

Threads like these make me dread the off season on this forum and this one especially.
It's going to be full of lol.

Forget 9\. brooks, he would get hammered at hooker….I don't know but I think Sironen MUST be in the team.

It's really all on Sironen then to get his form and fitness together and nail down a permanent spot. Between positional changes and too many injuries he's underachieved so far.

I agree the potential's there, and if the Tigers are paying him long term, he should be playing first grade

Brooks to hooker isn't the worst idea I've heard. But Ballin and Liddle should be our first option next year.

I doubt Luke would be happy about if but i have no doubt he would kill it at hooker. He hits harder front on than most of our forwards, defending in closer with more players around him would suit him perfectly. Did u see one game last year he played 20 minutes of dummy half? He killed it and looked great. His speed from there would be a huge asset.

The more i think about it the more i can see Moses being our Thurston and Brooks being our Granville.

Good discussion Bob,there are some fair points in this thread,I think Sirro may have been put into first grade a little early and getting injured really wrecked his morale, having said that, he could really knuckle down and show us his gifted potential, even if he plays in state cup,his confidence would boost and he may get the enthusiasm back….as for him playing hooker I think he is far better at being a wide running backrower given his halves playing in earlier years...Some have said JLJ should be utilised there and I couldn't agree more,he is a valuable player and adapts easily,if for some reason Ballin can't make the field next year,JLJ would be ideal....as always this is my opinion only....cheers...

I don't recall his stint at dummy half but e's got all the attributes, i wouldn't be mentioning it to him before he
re-signs tho. Lol

I reckon he could kill it as well. His defence has improved a lot this season. I often now see a big tackle being made and Brooks is making it. He has lightning speed as well.
