The only downside is that the grub will end up in the channel 9 commentary box

Mmmm have you heard him speak? Although Lockyer is a commentator so who knows…

Actually I take that back I dont mind DL as commentator.

He sounds like a cartoon jockey. Slater I mean.

Poor blokes voice never broke

Shame to see so many people celebrating an injury to Slater. Sure he's questionable on the field in terms of conduct but at least he's never tried to root dogs, glass his partner, bash women, take performance enhancing or recreational drugs, led cops on a drink drive chase or been accused of rape.

No self respecting dog would let him near them

Look I know you blokes don't probably see correlation of the two situations , but many Qlders in the know do

Slater is missing the whole SOO series , so now the Qld SOO team is moving its entire operation before Game 1 to Gladstone

Now you can see how highly Kevie Walters rates me

I still remember when Slater lashed out with his boot and kicked Skando at Leichhardt Oval.
Skando chased him round for a bit.

I'm sure you have 2 Appendages …. One for each hand

who's celebrating?
most people in fact said he is a really good player

I would like to see him overcome this latest set back.
Play a few games, then see how his body is coping.
Then he, not injury will determine when he calls time on his career.

Gee I dunno, did you read the thread? Look at the OP for starters.

Can't stand Slater. Big noting wanker, loves to talk about himself on BSB, will bag Tugger Waugh any chance he gets and to top it all off, he's a Manly fan.

Always sad when a champion can't go out on his own terms. I feel that he's done.
I haven't seen another fullback in the same postcode as him in the NRL era.

I agree with Stryker. He has coach written all over him. Great organiser and communicator. Makes decisions and backs himself. And he's done it all and all levels.

Slater having a go at Waugh? I have a lot of respect for Slater but having a go at Waugh is not on. Certainly gone down in my estimation.

He can't stand him ever since he dropped him back in 2001.

I'm a bit torn by this. While he's a quality player he's also one of the grubbiest players to have played the game in recent years. It's hard not to take a little pleasure when a dirty player gets a bit of karma..!

On the other hand i'm also upset that I won't be able to taunt him at LO as we beat the Storm once again.

Wrong Slater I think..

Anyhow I guess it's time to leave our Slater's Grubbiest moments here..I'll start…

1\. Head stomping Skando at Leichhardt...

Haha, I didn't even think of that. Read the post about his voice never having broke and channel nine commentary box and assumed it was ol' nasally Michael Slater.

What a colossal misread on my part!
