Slow Moving Turtles in 2019-2020?

lets face it we need forwards badly, and the fact we didnt bring woods back, when the dogs would pay some of his wages will bit the club on the bum. really cant see where the hell he will get the 3-4 good forwards we need. think ivans done a good job with what he got but we need to start shopping at MYERS NOT ALIDI.

Not a very fair comparison…......Aldi is light years ahead of this tigers franchise.

A more fair comparison would be "we need to start shopping at MYERS not digging up turds in the slums of Calcutta."

The Reject Shop is where we have done all of our shopping over the last decade or so.

Our pack is as weak as, soft is too hard a word for them. Bludgers hits the spot but with 9 winger errors its with little wonder people call wingers pretend footballers.

I don’t think we are that far off. If we had a kapow a forward rotation off packer and twal and mats and kapow would be well above the benchmark.

Add in a Cleary or more controlled half and the spine would be one of the better in the comp.

Our centres and forwards need a shake up but none are contracted long term.

Lawrence is playing well in the back row, and again if we add one more of piece of quality we are competing.

I know it’s not looking great but I don’t think we are after a total clean out - just need to buy in a few key posistions and have some of the younger guys kick on.

I would be flogging our players with some marathon type runs for training over the next week
Especially those players we would like to offload
If they dont like it there's the door

Tui Rochow McQueen and all off contract players
We have a bye next week
See who stands up and see who gives up

We need guys that run hard. The only 2 that do that are Lawrence and Aloiai!!!!

We need enforcers - go after Matagi, Tapau.

We have no one that the opposition fears or would hate to tackle.

Should have gone hard for Junior Paulo.

Man we suck!

Should have offered Sharron a chance to come back, he's a lot better then 31 metres a game.

Yet we still rank about 7th for meters gained. Something screams gameplay about Packer and Matulino’s meters. Like I’ve said before, opposition score the majority of points or the rot sets in when these guys are off the field. It’s like clockwork.

In saying that I would like a lot more meters from the forwards, game plan or not

Agree 1000% on all points

Most teams are at their best defensively with their starting pack on but our bench rotation is exposed more than most. I'm hoping having an 80 minute hooker will help by freeing up a bench spot but our forward depth may not be good enough to take advantage.

Oddly enough I think Benji's return is going to make a difference in our edge defence. He's got a good read on where he needs to be and puts his body on the line.

Junior Paulo's not a bloke you want at your club, the memory of Tim Simona's still raw. We don't want any wannabe gangsters or their criminal friends anywhere near Concord.

No reason why they players who got us of to a great start to the year can’t rekindle that form. I’m very confused with all the hysteria. Our major issue over the last month or so has been ball control and discipline. This is the best forward pack we have had in years. I honestly think the bye came at a great time for us. Back to the basics and we should finish the year off strongly.
