So Moses was going to debut this week in first grade

what about the sliding defence? fullback is crucial there, he has to cover the outside man if the winger jams in.

The other option is the the winger keeps wide and the FB has to come in to try fill the big hole on the inside but ive rarely seen that, probably because its ineffective as the opposition can execute it much more quickly than getting the ball out to the winger.

fullbacks are super important in terms of defence.

I love these people saying no way he was even considered this week. Especially u Happy up in QLD.

Like i said in another thread, its my belief Mitch has cost himself his first grade debut

I reckon Richie read your post and thought "Hmmmm…theres a new angle"

Not a quote in sight in the ''article'' as usual

Not impossible though , who knows

I was gonna say im flattered but its the Telegraph….who wants to be associated with them....not me.

At the very least he cost himself a chance.

If you were going to give him a run though, playing him out of position wouldn't have been a good move. It's hard enough playing in the NRL in your favoured position.

Happy mate have u seen Rowes defence? I have no doubt Moses would put his body on the line more than Kurtis.

Battle of the human turnstyles…let the spinning begin! Moses brings a lot more to the table in attack...

We HOPE he does Willow

He hasn't played NRL yet , yet to be proven

NYC means little when it comes to the crunch

Moses did make an excellent 1on1 tackle on the big forward from Canberra - Mago. He had a solid run and Moses took him straight down. Was very impressive. But obviously he still needs some work, as all young players do..!

Makes you wonder what happens to Austin down the track.

That's a good point.

I definitely believe Austin has something to offer our team.

I'm still not sold on luani as hooker. He's solid, but no X factor.

When farah retires, maybe Austin could be trained up to take over?

Not too far of a stretch in my opinion, as he has played well when filling in, with only limited preparation and time in the position.

austin will have to make his own way. This game will be a make or break for him which is a bit unfair but if he is any good, he will make that position his own.
