So now Ben Te'o is a gun.

Played his first senior game for Keebra Park High…

Schoolboy football shouldn't count… How is that a senior game? When I went to school the records for games were very scratchy - you didn't need registration or anything like you do to play senior football. And surely he was only there on a scholarship from a NSW club. It's just a farce.

I found it interesting to hear Tunksy's (Talkin Sport )call on Bronson - says - yea his attacking game is good but has too many poor reads in defence that have led to far too many tries in his opinion - interesting to see a forwards point of view on another forward - most people on here only see Harrisons new found attacking skills

I'd imagine Inglis would have played a few games for Bowraville Public

Agree diedpretty. Harrison has the same issues in defence as he did when he was here. And seriously who would he replace in the side?

Played for Hunter Sports High I believe. Same comp they used to get Te'o counted as a Qlder. They'll have less home grown players than England cricket at this rate.

He went to Keebra Park….in Qld

Is he even a Queenslander? I thought he was a Kiwi!

Yes hes Kiwi but pledged allegiance to QLD, saw in on last weeks footy show

I thought it was state of origin not state of allegiance… We're talking about someone who:

- Was born in NZ
- Moved from NZ to a NSW team
- Played tests for Samoa
- Has lived in Qld for a year and a half

And that qualifies you to play for Queensland? What's the point of having rules - NSW might as well pick Burgess and Ellis and be done with it.

Seriously, what a joke...

And Greg Inglis went to Hunter Sports HS…. in NSW

If you read the rest of the posts you'd know my criticism was counting schoolboy football for qualification. The records for these type of games are dead set ordinary. And it's not like he moved to the Gold Coast as a young kid. They should only be counting games involving registered players with registered clubs.

Ben Te'o played awful for the broncs last year and at teh the start of this year its only in his last month of football he's been playin well…

Oh hell yes I agree, Trouble is when I posted my reply it was in response to someone who had listed a whole heap of non QLD references (Kiwi & NSW) and I merely pointed out his shoolboy connection. By the time I got my post to post there were 6 posts referencing his Keebra park pedigree including yours.

Inglis & Folau are blue as they come. Dunno what Teo is other than a mercenary. Probably a blue but the whole thing is a disgrace that has descended into people "declaring" where they want to be from.

Mind you I assume you realise that under your definition Inglis & Folau are both Qlders?

And Tunks is spot on. Still very poor in defense, our probs are more to do with defense than attack so I cant see why we would want him back. Teo putting his hand up for origin says it all about the type of guy he is.
