We beat Arsenal 2-1
Then lost to Liverpool 3-2 .. Away I might add , not a bad effort for a team that has never ever in the history of the club been RELEGATED !!!!

Lopez is contracted until 2018.

It means jack though, we're a cantera club, so only Basque players play for us. We're a well off club, but we can't compete with your Madrids or Barcelonas, or any other cashed up European club for that matter. I'll be devo the day Muniain moves on, just like when Juventus snapped up Fernando Llorente, and when United snapped up Herrera. Both quality players that the cantera policy didn't allow us to replace them with someone of equal talent.

Yeah your spot , the Barca's and Real are just to hard to compete , but i loved the rise of Atletico , especially with Godin the Uruguayan Captain plying his trade there .
I used to sort of go for Villareal with Forlan there but didn't get into it enough .
I loved the shape of Bilbao and Lopez crosses 😱pen_mouth: pin point but don't be disillusioned with Bilbao .When you come against a side like Barca the cream will always rise to the top .
Uruguay just qualified for the under 20 's World Cup in New Zealand starting in May and if they get past the Group stages we are flying over there with my Uruguayan mates . Fingers crossed .

It's hard not to be frustrated when we drew with Real, beat Barca, only lost marginally to Altetico last year and finished fourth, and we only really lost one quality player in Herrera.

Our backline needs more work.
