Tell you what, United's starting team this year is going to look nothing like the team that took the field a couple of seasons ago.
Ferdinand, Rafael, Nani, Van Persie, Anderson, Welbeck, Cleverley, Vidic, Evra, Fletcher. All mainstays one or two years ago, all gone now.

I think letting Di Maria go is a good thing, the guy was a flop.
Schweinsteiger is a top midfield signing and will be pulling the strings like he did at Bayern Munich.
If you can convince Barca to lower there sell on clause on there winger Pedro, Barca a valueing him at 25 million but Man U think 17 million for him, the guy is class his 28 years old.
Di Maria wasn't well used by Van Gaal. He was pretty good in his first few outings. I felt that he and Falcao combined rather well, but yeah I guess he doesn't fit into LVG's system and as such was moved on.
Rumours are United will loan out Januzaj if Pedro goes through. Good thing IMO, he's behind a few players at United and will be better served getting first 11 experience elsewhere.
I'd be playing Shaw, Rojo, Darmian & Valera at the back, Blind at DM, Mata/Schweinstager/Herrera rounding out the diamond and Depay at the front and Rooney as second striker. Whether it works or not is anyones guess. Plenty of new faces in that squad.
