A huge congratulations also to Sydney FC young gun Hayden Matthews who started on his international debut

A point gained but on a wing and a prayer. Gone are the days when we used to put these sides away.
Can only see us getting through via repercharge, especially with Japan and the Saudis waiting for us.

Now, will Man City bounce back from their slump and give Spurs a hiding, or will Spurs galvanise on the back of their shock loss to Ipswich plus their “racial” blow up.
I hate to say it but can’t see anything but a City win , however,
Come on Ye Spurs !

Wow. Spurs certainly bounced back after their last game result . Only 40% possession but took their chances and what a result 4-0,even though City currently in a big hole. I’m somewhat amazed but highly delighted, now all they need is some ongoing consistency.
On ya Spurs.

A point for @BrentfordFC despite being down to 10 men for over half of the match, in a game finishing 0-0. Particularly, Jordan Pickford maintained his recent solid form at the back for the Toffees.

A return to winning ways for @Arsenal with a strong 3-0 win over Forest.

Arsenal: Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Jorginho, Merino, Odegaard, Saka, Trossard, Jesus.
Subs: Neto, Zinchenko, Kiwior, Partey, Rice, Nwaneri, Sterling, Martinelli, Havertz.

The away team Spurs hand Man City their heaviest Premier League defeat in seven years winning 4 zip over an out-of-sorts City team at the Etihad.
Haaland scoreless, City scoreless, Spurs never looked back from the birthday boy, Maddison, scoring 2 decisive 1st half goals.
