And another VAR off side decision in the final game on the year Celtic vs Hearts overturned on field decision
And what a result that game was:

For eight months Celtic chased Hearts at the top of the Scottish Premiership. Eight months, a game of catch-up for 32 games, 2,880 on-field minutes, 48 hours.
Celtic came from behind in an astonishing finale to beat long-time Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts and deny them a first league title since 1960 - while securing their fifth title in a row after a miraculous season.

The Edinburgh side had led since September in their search to become the first non-Old Firm team to win the top flight in four decades.

They only needed a draw to be crowned champions, led through Lawrence Shankland's opener, and were only three minutes away from getting the point they needed before their dreams were snatched away.

Celtic regained their mantle - Hearts hearts were literally broken!

Newcastle defeats West Ham 3 nil
  • Nick Woltemade opens scoring with volley from Harvey Barnes' cross
  • William Osula doubles Newcastle's lead after coolly firing through Mads Hermansen's legs
  • Osula makes it 3-0 in second half – finishing clinically following a neat one-two with Joe Willock
  • Substitute Taty Castellanos pulls one back with a superb volley from distance
  • West Ham now need Chelsea to beat Tottenham on Tuesday to take relegation battle to final day

West Ham's survival hopes are hanging by a thread following a deeply damaging defeat against Newcastle United.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side had the chance to move out of the Premier League drop zone and pile the pressure back on Tottenham Hotspur with a win at St James' Park before the Hammers' relegation rivals meet Chelsea on Tuesday night.

However, given their vastly inferior goal difference, West Ham now need Chelsea to win at Stamford Bridge to realistically have any chance of staying up on the final day following this 3-1 loss on Tyneside.

Onya Sydney FC, big effort to make GF from 5th position. Interesting that GF is 3v5.
Hammers lost overnight so with Spurs superior goal difference at least a draw from one of our last 2 games mean we’d be safe. But if we lose both and Hammers win next week v Leeds, which is quite possible, we go down.
Tense stuff ! I think we have a better chance v Everton than Chelsea but we’ll see !!
