I was well off the mark, the game finished 1-1 in front of 78,419 at MCG.
Stats, as usual, all favoured Spurs but unable to turn it into a win ( sound familiar).
 
And back to our A League:

(a little snippet about a Spurs unsung hero)

In the 23/24 EPL season, Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario made 110 saves in his 38 appearances in the competition and became Tottenham's first goalkeeper since Paul Robinson in the 2007/08 campaign to go an entire league campaign without making an error that led to a goal.

Geria's goal for Victory was a screamer.
It was Mariners doing it tough (seemingly).
Then came the magnificent first goal from Mariners' Edmondson to draw level - then the Mariners put on an exhibition in extra time.
The crowd went wild.
I think their success prior to taking the field was its own burden till sanity prevailed.
Well done champion @Stevec and every Mariners fan out there.
