Wassail the underdog!

β€œSeventy-six million, seventy-six million!” β€” somebody from the crowd shouted when Benjamin Sesko went for a shot and missed the opportunity at the dying stage of the game.

Grimsby Town, a club from the English fourth tier, went two goals up only to concede twice against Manchester United. The entire budget of their team is around 3.9 million euros, while United spent 229 million on four players this summer.

The drama continued for a lifetime in tiebreaker. Grimsby held their nerves, and after 26 penalty kicks, Manchester United are knocked out by a league 2 side- the great Grimsby Town _ defeating Man United 12-11 on penalties

Grimsby had surged to an early 2-0 lead with goals from Cameron McJannet and Luca Barrington, capitalizing on errors by United's Andre Onana, before Bruno Fernandes and Joshua Zirkzee equalized. The shootout extended to 13 rounds, with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo missing for United, highlighting ongoing issues at Old Trafford despite heavy summer spending.

Spurs back on the roller coaster already.
An opening day win followed by a home loss, 1-0 to Bournemouth, hardly an EPL heavy weight. Can Spurs ever get some momentum and continuity ? I hope so otherwise another frustrating season.
Come on Ye Spurs.

As champion @Halbrowne61 says, the roller-coaster that is Spurs is up and going for another season!
This time, the opposition scored early and that's where the scoreboard stayed, but that ignores the many chances the Cherries had where Spurs front line appeared impotent.

Oh, there's also a Cherries player, Semenyo: he was again a special player on the park!

Incredible scenes at Stadium of Light, as underrated Sunderland win for the second time this season, this time coming from behind at the death to defeat Brentford 2-1, and much to the joy of their fans!

Manchester United had oodles of chances before finally putting this game to bed, winning 3-2 over a dogged Burnley via a penalty in extra time to their talisman, Fernandes

Stats don't always tell the full story, but on this occasion, the game day stats show Spurs downside in black and white; lots of work ahead for last season's 17th position team

I'd just be happy if WHU beat Man City πŸ˜† even a draw would be acceptable
