A dominant Southampton put five past QPR at St Mary's to aid their push towards the Championship play-off places.
Finn Azaz gave Saints an early lead as he curled a low shot into the far corner from the edge of the box, they then doubled their lead just before the break when Kuryu Matsuki headed a corner home for his first Championship goal.
The Japanese attacking midfielder then added another, five minutes after half-time, slotting a rebound home to make it three.
Leo Scienza added a fourth just before the hour mark, breaking into space down the left before finishing past QPR keeper Joe Walsh. James Bree then scored a fifth ten minutes later, firing home from outside the box via a slight deflection.
Tonda Eckert's Saints jump up from 11th to seventh in the Championship table, four points off Wrexham, while QPR are 13th.
Femi Azeez scored a stunning volley and created two more goals as Millwall beat Birmingham City to go third in the Championship.
The win ended the Blues' eight-match unbeaten run in the league, and to make matters worse for manager Chris Davies they had midfielder Jhon Solis sent off for a second yellow card.
Azeez brilliantly volleyed in the opener and then saw his vicious 30-yard free kick rebound off the post for Tristan Crama to make it two before half-time.
Another Azeez free kick led to Jake Cooper scoring a killer third goal as the Lions responded to losing at home to Portsmouth at the weekend.
Birmingham headed to The Den in confident form, having won their last three away games in the Championship, but they were harried out of their stride from the start by the hungry Lions.
Auckland make it an unbeaten February with a big home win 3 nil over the reigning premiers Melbourne City to move five points clear in second and keep the pressure on the Newcastle Jets!
Despite a frenetic ending, the points are shared between Brisbane Roar and Perth Glory at Kayo Stadium
Brisbane Roar and Perth Glory both left Kayo Stadium frustrated after a physical 1-1 draw that does little to help the finals aspirations of either side.
Both goals came early in the match, Englishman Chris Long scored first for Brisbane before Perth grabbed the equaliser just minutes after through a Youstin Salas own goal.
Brisbane opened the scoring on 15 minutes with some set piece genius, Jay O’Shea rolling the ball on the angle to take the defensive wall out of the way for Long to slam home from range.
Perth equalised straight away when Salas failed to deal with Luca Tevere’s dipping cross from the right under pressure from Nicholas Pennington.
Streak broken!
The F3 Derby ends goalless, and Central Coast Mariners have brought Newcastle's attempt to break the record for consecutive Isuzu UTE A-League wins to an end!
The Newcastle Jets have fallen short of a tenth-straight win, being halted in a 0-0 draw by a determined Central Coast Mariners side at Polytec Stadium.
Newcastle were denied an opening goal in the 21st minute, as Will Dobson was deemed to have impacted the play in an offside position, disallowing Eli Adams’ perfectly placed strike.
The Jets continued to look the better side in the opening half hour, coming close to finding the back of the net twice through Lachlan Rose.
Win, clean sheet and now two points behind leaders Arsenal.
At the end, Manchester City (even without their talisman - Haarland) defeated Leeds United 1-0

Millwall end up 2 nil winners over Preston North End
Championship promotion chasers Millwall closed the gap to second-placed Middlesbrough to one point with victory at stumbling Preston North End.
Ryan Leonard's low curling strike in the first half put the Lions in front, Josh Coburn having already struck the post for the visitors at Deepdale.
Camiel Neghli could have stretched the lead but fired wide and was then denied by Preston goalkeeper David Cornell before the break.
Femi Azeez, who had just seen an effort saved by Cornell, set up Millwall's second in stoppage time when he burst down the right and his cross was finished by Luke Cundle.
