Thanks FIFA, but the real football competition is about to begin in Australia... the over-70s World Cup!

Teams from the US, Wales, England, Germany and Japan are coming down under to compete.

Among the competitors is 83-year-old David Mudge, who holds the Guinness World Record for the oldest person to ever play competitive football.

An Aussie manager set to lead against Premier League opposition in front of expected record crowd in New Zealand

Australian manager Luke Casserly is set to manage Auckland FC in their upcoming pre-season clash against English outfit Tottenham Hotspur at Eden Park. Earlier this year, the 52-year-old manager led his Auckland FC 2 side to OFC Pro League glory having won the competition in its inaugural season

Casserly is also set to be part of a historic day for football in New Zealand with an expected crowd of 40,000 - the most for a men's football match in the country.

Auckland FC take on Tottenham Hotspurs tomorrow afternoon at 3pm local NZ time
