Harry Redknapp began his managerial career at Bournemouth in 1983
Former Tottenham and West Ham manager Harry Redknapp has joined Derby County as a football advisor.
The 69-year-old will work alongside head coach Darren Wassall until the end of the season, when a review of the club's coaching structure will occur.
In addition to his Rams role, Redknapp has agreed to help Jordan for their next two World Cup qualifiers.
Kevin Bond will join him in working alongside existing coaching staff for games against Bangladesh and Australia.
"The two encounters against Bangladesh and Australia will be the start of a future relationship with Redknapp and Bond," said a Jordanian FA statement.
Derby sacked previous head coach Paul Clement in February and appointed Wassall until the end of the season.
Redknapp, who has been out of work since leaving QPR in January 2015, told the Derby website: "From the first conversation I had with the chairman (Mel Morris) it was clear he has exciting plans for the football club.
"I am delighted to be able to help out and am looking forward to working with Darren and his team."
The Rams are fifth in the Championship, seven points adrift of an automatic promotion place.

After 2 years of an international ban on Suarez…..he came back to the international game and played for Uruguay in there World Cup qualifier game vs Brazil in Brazil.
Was the hero for the visitors and scored there 2nd goal to equalise the game, it finished 2-2.
Uruguay were down 2-0 and just before half-time Uruguay clawed 1 goal back thanks to Cavanni and 3 minutes into the 2nd half Suarez scored, he could of won the game in the 85th minute.
Uruguay was missing there starting back 4 defenders through suspensions and injuries with Atletico Madrid's Diego Godin (suspension) and also Atletico Madrid's defender in Jimenez injured missing. Juventus and Uruguayan defender Caseres was also missing through injury. Fantastic effort under those circumstances to get away from Brazil with a draw, very thrilled.
Uruguay maintain there 2nd place on the ladder and play Peru In Montevideo Uruguay on Thursday morning.

I just factored in more Leicester City dropping more points than what not due to the pressure and maximized more points for Spur and Arsenal.
So really it's looking really good for the Foxes and only a massive choke would not see them live out a massive fantasy Title win , Ranieri has done an amazing job and that's what you call a true Manager when you can get a squad of literally no ones and do what he has achieved , it's pretty easy for Managers at Chelsea, Man U , Man City etc and having the squads they have . Mourinho a Manager pffff......who is he ?
The only other Fairytale is AFC Bournemouth reaching the promised land with back to back Promotions at a ground where Capacity Crowd is 12,000 i believe ?
