Fans say ‘No’ to new EPL pricing on Optus

The Daily Telegraph

OPTUS has revealed the pricing information for its English Premier League streaming services next season — and fans are not happy.

If you want to watch every game of the 2016/17 EPL season you are going to be locked in to joining the Optus network with a current mobile, broadband or Yes TV subscription required for access.

Subscriptions will be available for $15 per month on top of the cost of your mobile subscription, or will be included free for plans valued at $85 per month and above.

The minimum subscription available is $40 per month, and with new subcribers locked in for 24 months the minimum outlay for football fans over the two year period is **$1320.**

Fans who want a big-screen solution</bigwill be forced to outlay **$2160 over 24 months for Optus’s Fetch TV service.**

Having paid over $50 million to secure the rights to the most popular football league in the world, the Telco has gambled on the devotion of EPL fans to recoup the hefty sum … and early indications are not good for Optus:

Optus paving the way for you and your mates to crowd around a 5 inch screen to watch the Merseyside Derby is the greatest thing in sport!....

I can picture happy FT and hobbo around a 5 inch...

Premier League games are played on a different schedule than Sky Bet League 1

So it will be just Hobbo and I

And I can't see Hobbo recovering from his teams choke anytime soon :crazy

In the Dungeon with the padded cells , PS Hobbo Buckets has asked me to ask you to stop ringing him to deliver beer and pizzas

He only feeds Wests Tigers losers , not Tottenham losers

Geez mate you're hilarious , have you thought of doing stand up comedy ?

You just keep following the perennial plodders in west ham !

It's a Clayton's premiership for Leicester .
Man- U , chelsea , and Arsenal have been a basket case all year , Mighty Spurs have fielded the youngest EPL team in history and will most probably finish 2nd .
Not a bad achievement !
Let's see how Leicester go when they play In Europe as well as there regular games !
As for Leeds , I'd sooner wear a Leeds Jersey than a Wham Jersey any day of the week !!!!

Who cares if they finish outside the top 6? Even if they get relegated it doesn't matter. They're EPL winners. Spurs managed to finish ahead of Man City Man U Liverpool Arsenal and Chelsea and still didn't win and that's going to hurt well into the future unless they win next season.

En la futbol del espanol, Bilbao can still make Champions League if Villareal drop their last two games and they win theirs.

So stoked about Bein Sports coming to Fox.

Foxtel will air all matches for global brand giants Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur at no extra cost to subscribers.
>
All games will be shown on delay, but some of the exclusive content available will be unprecedented in Australian sport — with the official club TV channels for Chelsea, Liverpool and United to air 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
>
The addition of three club channels means that Foxtel subscribers will have 15 dedicated sports channels.

Why aren't Fox beating down WHAM's door...Is it because they rate so poorly...Is there a WHAM channel ....like all the Glamour Clubs seem to have....

Are WHAM Global brand GIANTS...very very disappointing Happy...I need ANSWERS...
