N'Golo Kante, case closed. Leicester are back to being a see-saw club after losing him. Chelsea are a force after signing him.

Also, I think they were very one dimensional last season, nobody really saw them winning the league until it was too late. A bit of arrogance from everyone also helped their case. Teams pressed them high and took the game to them, despite the fact they were lethal on the counter. Clubs are smarter to them now, and will not give them that opportunity. Their defence is shambolic which makes them a lot easier to break down.

I think they'll stay up. Out of the 6 relegation contenders I think they have the most potential to string 3-4 wins together and pull away. I think once they are out of the champions league they will knuckle down and start winning games, when normalcy returns to the club. They are still on cloud nine.

Two absolute howlers tonight

The refs in general have been complete rubbish all season, although Sydney have been on the other side of the dud calls several times this season (Carney's handball goal vs Melbourne, Zullo's hand ball in the last derby & Carney's offside goal vs Mariners were all howlers which helped them pick up points).

I know they try and frame it as swings and roundabouts but to me that's a poor way of defending the dire officiating that has plagued the league all season. However from his tenure in charge of the NRL, we know that Gallop's approach to this is to fine people who complain about referees, because if no one is complaining about them, then they must be doing a good job.
