I wouldn't recommend using the wild card this week. Season is early days and you'll have no idea who plays good consistently until around mid-October/November. Wild card should only really be used if your team is a complete mess.
Other tips I recommend is playing around with formations and taking a look at fixtures when selecting players. Other than that you should be good to go

You're right no need for a wild card this week.

I'm just submitting my team for the first game week so unlimited trades this week.

Will have a bit more of read as to how the wild cards work.

Hey champion guyofthetiger, I've always been able to change things right up till the start of the first game, but sometimes there's lots of users and then you mightn't be able to get onto the site. So I find it best to change the team a few hours before game starts, to allow for congestion etc.

Yeah it seemed to lock out at 9pm - half an hour before 1st kick off.

I had my team mostly done.

Funnily enough was just looking at turning a 4m keeper into Patricio (4.5m) - who's right now looking quite good - when the site went offline for lockout.

Ah well, 500k up my sleeve.
