you need harden quality players and a real game breaker and we are in short supply of them.

Let’s see, I wouldn’t be against that but I doubt if AD would be able to do much behind the tripe our forwards dished up tonight. Not to mention the 60m per set we conceded all night.

I noticed the first 5-10 plays it seemed he was barely dummy half…not sure if strategy or poor positioning or if that’s normal?

I was at the game tonight. The second half was one of the worst efforts from a tigers forward pack in years. They just rolled up the middle 50 to 60m every set. Then our forwards couldn’t penetrate in attack and we’re going backwards. Forwards went missing and cost us that game. Backs actually looked half decent for once and put some great moves together. Same old story with these guys, one step forward, two steps back. Time for a change I think.

Our backline actually looked about as slick as it has for a long time, but they just didn’t get enough opportunities.

We need a decent kicking game . AD provides that .

Does he? He’s got a good spiral bomb when he hits it right but the rest of his kicking was a bit hit and miss.

As I’ve said before he’s out long term 6, but his kicking game is the number 1 thing he has to work on.

We let in 8 2nd half tries.
Our forwards seem to have given everything they had in the 1st half and had nothing left in the tank? Maybe a few of them are thinking too far into the future. Like next season? Joe was good for us. Our backs had structure and looked threatening with the addition of Naden and Laurie. Brooks was well targeted by Souths.
Souths big boppers made plenty of ground up the middle, again Burgess went looking for Simpkin, but he always put his body on the line.

I assume it's cos they're privately owned by a guy who brings a lot of attention to the game.
