What if you were born in Sydney and your olds moved to Brisbane when you were 4 years old? The NSWRL would have had nothing to do with your upbringing as a player.
What if you were born in Wellington and your olds moved to Sydney when you were 4 years old? The NZRL would have nothing to do with your upbringing as a player, also do you miss out on Origin altogether?
What if you were born in Perth? Do you miss out on Origin altogether?
….and so on and so forth....
That rule would create so much fighting it wouldn't be funny.
