German is a great language for all those quirky descriptive words.

Zeitgeist, Ohrwurm, Schadenfruede, Kopfkino.

Theres another word that escapes me which is the word for the feeling you have when you think of a perfect joke or comeback to someone after the time has passed.

Treppenwitz??

That's the one.

I love schadenfreude, not the actual feeling itself but the way it rolls off your tongue.

I was born in 1951. I can remember a lot of actors from movies in the 1950s and 1960s and a couple of decades after but couldn't tell you much about movies from 2000 onwards.
