Hodges is more of a dog then I thought. Massive cat.

Hodges has always been a cat. Talented player, but a cat when it comes to throwing them.

Merritt was about as useful as herpes. His return will be just as welcome

Benching Farah. JOKE. Bench one of the inept halves

Good summary mate.
Fifita is the only bloke playing as well as, if not better than his opposite. Pearce is playing as he always does. Absolute pussy. Farah is being taught a lesson by Smith.
Queensland take their chances and the Blues are stuffed.

Farah taught a lesson? Please, Queensland have had all the ball, what's he supposed to do?

Queensland have been by far the better side, but it's easy to dominate when you have all the ball.

If you cant see that Smith is head and shoulders outplaying him then you need glasses my friend.

I'm sure if NSW had the same amount of ball Qld did the shoe would be on the other foot. Of course a hooker is going to look good behind a dominant pack with majority possession. It's not rocket science. On an even day I'd take Farah over Smith.

Well thats where we differ then because I would only take Farah 1 time out of 10 against Smith. Smith always makes the right decisions and methodically breaks the other side with his service, his defence and his kicking…not to mention his leadership. Rob still has a fair way to go to catch him.

I think Mundine now knows the reason why Merritt was never selected for origin. How anyone could have possibly thought he was going to be anything other than dominated is beyond me.

How many more chances will Pearce get?

willow you are kidding yourself about farah, the reason why he will never be as good as smith was on show tonight.apart from that kick that set up that try he was ordinary tonight taking many wrong options.

Harsh call. Smith had the luxury of playing with a class halves pairing. Just like club level, Farah had to take it upon himself to try and create something.

Farah is a far more dynamic player than Smith, but the difference between Smith's best and worst is minimal.

Easy for people to judge players when they're behind a beaten forward pack, on the wrong side of the possession ledger and playing with a one dimensional halves combo. I would have loved to see Farah's impact playing behind Qld tonight.

Dog or cat? lol

Both. Shits himself when blokes come looking for him but is real tough 20 metres away calling out for a fight. Merrins whack on Tate was pretty grubby too.

I'd have Carney in there ahead of Pearce, I'd have Reynolds in there ahead of him too.

You've seen it when he plays for Australia. He is good but not great. I love Robbie as a Tigers man and fully respect him but he wont knock Smith off his perch anytime soon. You are also giving Smith no credit for getting his forward pack - who most judges said would be outmuscled tonight - on the front foot. The bloke is a legend and as Smeg said…he is good enough for 2 contracts :smiling_imp:

You have to dump Pearce…he is clueless at this level.

Unfortunately both halves have to go but you can't do that in a decider - for me Pearce survives and Carney comes in at 5/8 - My Team would be
1\. Hayne/Dugan
2\. Morris
3\. Jennings
4\. Morris
5\. Ferguson/ Dugan
6\. Carney
7\. Pearce - really don't want him would rather Adam Reynolds but not in a decider
8\. Grant
9\. Farah
10\. Tamou
11\. Lewis
12\. Bird
13\. Gallen

14\. Fifita
15 Merrin
16\. Woods
17\. Watmough

its a joke having Reynolds sitting on the bench - Daley isn't smart enough to manage a bench unless there a 4 forwards..

Smith was helped by the refs carrying his team up the field.
He did bugger all but the job of any hooker- overrated because he's a Queenslander

Haha "whatever buddy" that argument might work in your sewing circle but your going to have to come up with something better than that to convince me. Anyway, keep thinking that way…I will put my faith in Cameron for game 3 thankyou very much.

That match was lost in the first 20 minutes when the Blues couldn't get a hold of the ball. The Blues pack needs an even shair of position for its mobility (which is its strength) to have an impact on the game.

The kicking game was poor but so were a few decisions and the next to no luck.
