it's nice to be in vogue, isn't it, with Russell, Joel, Nicole..Good luck to them, we'll see where the stars end up when the well runs dry…
 
Yeah, the poor hag looked like she would rather be sitting on the toilet than wedged in between Russ and that other try-hard tosser. Funny thing is you never really see any sight of Russ when Souths are losing.
 
Russ has been there heaps when they were losing. Who cares who their fans are and high profile they are. Sad that you are even thinking of this
 
Can't say I can recall seeing too much of Russ when Souths have lost games, sure he might be there watching but does he go and hide in the corporate box instead of sitting front and centre like he does when they are having a win?

It is a sad indictment on how poor that WT are performing that the camera's focussed more on those 3 parasites in the stands than on the on-field action.

It is just facts. Winning breeds bandwagoners, have a look at when Mike Tyson was king of the boxing world, he had bloodsuckers hanging off him left, right and centre. Then his golden run ends and these same people vanish into thin air.
The Rabbitohs and their Hollywood hangers-on will be no different.
 
I hate Souths I really do.

But leaving the ground I was cahtting to a really nice middle age couple who have been there all along and watched their side suffer I was happy for them they were experiencing the flip side.

Didn't notice the celbs box. I was at the ground so my viewing isn't dictated by the media people cross promoting shows
 
So what happens if Dawn Fraser , Michael Clarke and Anthony Field all sit together in a VIP box ??

Does that put us in the same boat ??

High profile, or the usual dropkick , if you look hard enough with anybody who supports Souths you'll find a serious character flaw or a disturbing mental issue.
The 'pride of the league' attract imbeciles like moths to a flame.
Impossible not to dislike the conceit the club displays.

In 99, the yr before they were kicked out of the comp he use to sit on the bench quite a lot. Rusty was a well known supporter long before he brought them, he didn't just pop up out of the woodwork.

Mate, you have got tp be joking. Crowe was there when they were rock bottom. He was there when they had no team. He was there when there were last and getting lapped.

Credit where it is due…he has put his own money and soul into the club. Given his status as a world famous actor, he cold be laying by the pool in LA spending his millions on parties and women. Instead, the bloke has poured it into his footy team. He is a real fan.

I know we are crap, but there's no need to be petty.

They have a very smart and astute marketing team… High Profile Stars; High Memberships Numbers; High Third Party Arrangements all = Highly placed on the ladder.

Souths have worked it out... When will the Tigers get smarter off the field???

I've got news for you, their well aint drying up any time soon. They are the product of an adoring fanbase, a well run organisation and a passionate spirited team.

Dont let the fact that we are run by two clubs that hate each other, two fanbases that would rather not be in the same room together truth be told and a bunch of has beens and never will be's on the field, blind you to the truth.

Thats the key thing. They have the Burgess brothers, Inglis and Reynolds all signed long term. Love them or hate them, winning at least 1 premiership in the next 5 yrs is inevitable.

Can we not sound like sore losers, they have been a bottom team for a long time so let them enjoy it and I wish them all the best for the semis they are a brilliant team, as for us the tide will turn . At least we have experienced winning a grand final for South's it's been 42 years.

In my 40 + years experience supporting rugby league, I have noticed that women have always been there in their thousands supporting their team - either at the ground, watching on TV, participating in tipping comps and in discussions at various work places etc. Not to mention, working behind the scenes throughout the various clubs. I hardly think they need to be attracted to the game by bringing in Hollywood celebs, but I see your point.
 
Its been male dominated sport, still is.
But more women are getting into it

How many regular females on this forum?
Very few -if any
