I know he was injured but to me he typified what the dragons problem is. They don't want to play for each other. When we ran at him when he was injured he was unwilling to put his body on the line for his mates. Injured or not he still should have IMO. I may be wrong but that's the way I saw it. Thoughts?

It was awesome!!!! The dragons are a very good team, but they're just missing the grunt they had last year where they put everything on the line.
 
He was the last chaser on Benji for that try after makijng I think two previous attempts to shut down the play (albeit Lui tackle style). He has no problem with his ticker.
 
Mate nerve problems in the back aren't a lot of fun. He should have been taken off when he asked to instead of being waved back on. No players likes to come off so when they signal they're gone, well, they're gone. Poor mistake by the Dragons bench and coaching staff. Proved costly.
 
Just before that try, I saw one of our trainers sprint onto the field to let Ryan, Lawrence, Ellis and Marshall know about Soward one by one, it was quite hilarious actually because the whole crowd on our side saw it early and started yelling to come this way and then BAM!

Sheens admitted the Tigers targeted the Dragons' right edge, which included Beau Scott and Jamie Soward, both of whom suffered late injuries. The Tigers had success late down their left edge. ''We spotted young Scott with a hamstring and went to that edge, and that's where we came up with a couple of results,'' Sheens said. ''And the young six as well. As soon as we spotted that, we played that edge, and got over the top of things.

''I was happy with the fact that we executed those really well.

Don't get me wrong guys I would never call an nrl player soft. To me what separates the good players from the great ones are those that are willing to pit in an extra 5% when they are hurting. IMO soward didn't do that last night. I am by no means saying he is soft.

couldn't believe bennett left him on? just a bad move by him that sheens took advantage of. bad coaching. bad wayne! bad!
 
Poor option by the coach. Not a huge fan of Soward but I thought his chase was pretty brave considering. Why the bejeesus Bennett left him on is beyond me.

I doubt he could have done anymore than he did. Dragons paid the price for keeping him out there.

Smart work good to see our spotters are on the ball shows how a win involves a WHOLE team.

Yah, I strongly dislike Soward, but to still chase right to the end was gutsy.

Did anyone notice he tried to trip Beau Ryan when he cut inside to set up Benji?? He sticks a leg out, dog.

I did see that, glad Beau didn't get hurt
 
The Dragons are like any other side, a couple of key injuries to key players and they come back to the field. As for Soward he puts in, but the Drags made a mistake in trying to hide him out wide, thats just playing to our strength would have been better leaving him in the middle where he had some mates to help.
